dMAT Registration India 2026: Last Date, INR Fee, How to Book, and Test Centres

You already know whether you need dMAT. This page is how to book dMAT exam seats in India: dates, the g.a.s.t. portal, centres, payment, and how the PDF reaches APS.

dMAT registration India is not done on aps-india.de. APS India verifies documents. g.a.s.t. runs the test, takes the €150 fee, and issues the certificate. Mixing those two logins is the usual delay.

What is the dMAT registration last date?

The dMAT registration last date for the first India sitting is 15 September 2026. You book on the g.a.s.t. portal, not APS India. The test is 26 September 2026. Certificates are issued from 12 October 2026. The fee is €150 (~₹16,500), separate from APS India's ~₹18,000.

APS India published this schedule for the first India administration. Treat it as current until they change the news page.

Fee: €150.00 (~₹16,500, bank rate varies), paid during registration to g.a.s.t. This is not the APS India fee of about ₹18,000. Two payments, two organisations. The dMAT registration last date for this sitting is 15 September 2026.

If you miss 15 September 2026, you miss this sitting. The next dMAT date is not listed on the APS page as of July 2026. Summer Semester 2027 uni-assist windows often close around 15 January 2027. A certificate from 12 October still leaves time for APS, but only if you sit this test.

How to book dMAT exam (g.a.s.t. portal)

Registration, payment, centre choice, technical help, and the certificate all go through g.a.s.t. APS India states that clearly. For booking questions, email [email protected]. For APS file questions, email [email protected].

Before you open the portal

1. Confirm dMAT applies: eligibility checker and dMAT affected fields.
2. Check anabin for your university and degree. APS India tells you to do this before you pay for dMAT. A score does not fix an H- or unclear H+/- institution.
3. Keep your passport next to you. Centres check photo ID against the name you typed.
4. Decide a backup city. Popular centres fill. APS India cannot reserve seats.

Booking steps

1. Open the exam search APS India links: g.a.s.t. dMAT exams worldwide. The overview page is dMAT in India on d-mat.de.
2. Create a g.a.s.t. test-taker account. This login is also how you download the certificate on 12 October. Save username and password somewhere you will still have in October.
3. Enter your name exactly as in the passport. If the ID at the centre does not match, they can refuse entry. That is a g.a.s.t. / centre check, not an APS interview.
4. Select dMAT for the 26 September 2026 date (wording on the portal may vary).
5. Pick a test centre that still has seats. The live list appears only inside registration.
6. Pay €150 as shown on the payment screen. Screenshot the confirmation and the receipt.
7. Read the dMAT terms before you assume a refund.
8. Watch email (and spam) for the confirmation and any test-day instructions (ID, arrival time, what you may bring).

Do not pay anyone who claims they can hold an APS dMAT slot. Seats are first come, first served on g.a.s.t.

g.a.s.t. dMAT test centres India

APS India lists these licensed centres for the first sitting. The final list and remaining seats show only during registration.

d-mat.de also mentions Kathmandu (Nepal) on the same planned list. If you need Nepal, confirm it still appears in the g.a.s.t. portal before you travel.

If your city is full: pick another centre with seats, or you miss 26 September. APS India will not create a private slot.

The test is about 3.5 hours (core module plus General Academic Module), at a centre, not at home. Follow the confirmation mail for ID and technical rules. For test-day problems, the centre and g.a.s.t. run the room; APS India does not.

After the test: dMAT certificate APS upload

g.a.s.t. issues the certificate. APS India does not.

From 12 October 2026, download it from the g.a.s.t. test-takers portal (the same login you created at registration). APS India says you can download it any time after results are published.

How the file meets APS:

• If the PDF is ready when you courier APS, include it with the rest of the APS India documents.
• If you already shipped APS, send the dMAT certificate later. APS may already be checking transcripts. They still will not finish the APS certificate until they have the dMAT PDF and have matched it to g.a.s.t.
• You cannot sneak extra marksheets or a new degree with that later upload. Only the dMAT certificate is allowed as a delayed item for that file.

A low score does not auto-refuse APS. Universities decide how they use the result. dMAT also does not replace anabin or grades.

If you miss 15 September 2026

There is no second 2026 date on the APS India dMAT page as of 13 July 2026. Missing this sitting means you wait for whatever sitting g.a.s.t. publishes next. That can push APS completion past early university deadlines for Summer 2027.

Winter 2026/27 Master's applicants in the first cohort were not the target of this introduction. Do not book dMAT just in case if the eligibility checker says you skip it.

Common booking mistakes

• Registering on APS India and thinking that booked the test (it did not)
• Paying only ₹18,000 and skipping the €150 g.a.s.t. fee
• Waiting until mid-September for a Delhi or Bengaluru seat
• Typing a name that does not match the passport
• Losing the g.a.s.t. login before 12 October
• Sending new academic documents with the late dMAT PDF (APS will not take them on that file)
• Skipping anabin and paying €150 for a degree path that cannot clear APS anyway
